Patrons | Protocol Users and Communities

Building on the Credits and Boost program, the Patrons program will enable community members to stake $IMU behind the projects or security researchers they believe in, and in return, earn a share of the researchers rewards.

Backing Security Researchers: Supporters share in researcher rewards while helping them reach boosted reward tiers. 

The larger the security contributions from the researcher, and the larger the amount staked by their supporters, the higher the $IMU reward shared between researchers and their patrons.

Backing Protocols: Communities can stake tokens to support a protocol’s security initiatives and receive rewards in return.

In both cases, staking unlocks onchain recognition and financial upside for advancing the shared goal of a safer onchain economy.
