IMU will establish an economic layer designed to accelerate the security flywheel by aligning incentives across the three forces that work to make web3 safe and gives IMU token holders a way to participate in the upside:

- Security technologists & researchers building and delivering it
- Protocol users and community members who benefit from safer financial products
Inspired by Vitalik’s call to “do well by doing good,” IMU is designed to reward contributors who secure the onchain economy and empowers users and community members to take an active role, creating a shared mission where every participant can contribute and benefit.
