Immunefi Platform Handles 92% of Onchain Disclosures
A new data analysis on onchain vulnerability flows showed that the critical vulnerability disclosure market has a clear dominant platform, and it's Immunefi. 1,143 disclosures. The next closest competitor? 79.
Protocols go where the researchers are. Researchers go where the payouts are. Both go where the track record is undeniable. That flywheel runs through Immunefi.
Other Developments:
- This month, Immunefi crossed $130 million in total payouts to security researchers - a milestone no other platform in crypto security has reached anywhere close to.
- Hacker Pledging
- 14.3M IMU pledged - up sharply from 4M in January, reflecting growing researcher conviction in the platform and IMU utility.
- Pledged IMU feeds directly into Immunefi's AI threat detection, creating a compounding loop: more pledges → better threat data → stronger protocol protection → more protocol participation.
- Token price declined over February, yet in February alone, researchers earned $4.4 million - Immunefi’s strongest single month in recent history.

March 2026: What's Being Built
Immunefi is investing in the infrastructure that keeps the platform operating at scale - and ahead of the ways attackers are adapting:
- Evolving mediation: the Immunefi platform tested whether researchers would pay to fast-track dispute resolution. They would. Demand came in at 5x what was expected. Now, the focus is on scaling it and building the infrastructure to handle volume without dropping quality. More to come on this in March.
- Shield My Bags - reimagined: Personal crypto security is getting its own front door. Following a successful first run and the growth of Hacker Pledging, Shield My Bags is being rebuilt as an accessible entry point for everyday crypto users who want to take their personal security seriously. Full relaunch coming in March, alongside a new researcher level system designed to surface top talent and reduce noise across the platform.
